Camelot and Other Stuff Remembered

Cover copyright Vanity Fair 2007.

Sometimes I really like Vanity Fair. Finally, a magazine you can actually read and learn from versus the multitude of rehashed beauty and clothing advice rags. The November 2007 issue is abound with retro goodness: beautiful photographs of John F. and Jacqueline Kennedy taken by Richard Avedon in 1961 (some seeing the light of day for the first time) in all of their black-and-white glory, an excerpt from Eric Clapton's new autobiography, a Q&A with former Pink Floyd band member Syd Barrett, and a study of the rise and fall of the dance craze the Twist. Don't miss it while it's on the newstands. You can also access it all though the Vanity Fair site.
